The Joy Strings were a UK band founded by Major Joy Webb in 1963 in the style of the British beat groups of the day.
All members were in the Salvation Army, the main members being Bill Davidson, Peter Dalziel, Joy Webb, Sylvia Gair & Wycliffe Noble. The group disbanded in July 1969.
