Czerwono-Czarni (Red-Black) was Poland's first rock and roll band, not a popular thing with the communist government of the day so they called their music "big beat". They are mentioned here for a Christmas album they wrote and recorded that was meant to be a Christmas mass written from a rock platform, rather than just doing rock versions or traditional sacred music. The album was reissued on CD in 1995.
