Mike Deasy was born and raised in the Los Angeles area of southern California. In the 1950s, he began playing guitar for the rock and roll stars of the day including The Coasters, Richie Valens, Ricky Nelson, The Everly Brothers, Eddie Cochran, Chubby Checker, Duane Eddy, etc.
In the early 1960s and into the 1970s Mike moved into the recording studios of Hollywood and played on albums by the top recording artists including The Beach Boys, Gary Lewis, Petula Clark, Tommy Roe, Nancy Sinatra, Frank Sinatra, The Monkees, Little Richard, Fats Domino, The Association, Dean Martin, Paul Revere & The Raiders, The 5th Dimension, Johnny Rivers, Elvis Presley, and many more.
In 1969, Mike would become a Christian and soon begin recording with Christian artists including Larry Norman, 2nd Chapter of Acts, Barry McGuire, Janny Grein, Scott Wesley Brown, Candle, Phil Driscoll, and many others.
Along with his wife Kathie, Mike has released numerous solo albums. With Kathie, He was pastor of the Rock Church Southeast in Port Arthur, Texas for many years.
