The Joe Cruse Family, later shortened to The Cruse Family and then just Cruse, was a well-known evangelistic musical group from Texas. The family ensemble, popular throughout much of the 1970s and early 1980s, traveled and ministered all across the world. They released 25 albums and received two Dove Awards. Over the years of its existence they would move more toward the softer Southern Gospel/Adult Contemporary genres.
