Bill Atwood



Bill Atwood is an American singer and trumpet player most known for his involvement in the groups Cold Blood and Van Morrison and his backup band The Caledonia Soul Orchestra as well as work with Boz Scaggs, The Sir Douglas Quintet, It's A Beautiful Day, The Grateful Dead, etc.

Atwood served during the Viet Nam war and became a Christian as a result of it. Today he is an Anglican bishop in the states and heads up the Ekklesia organization working in Africa.

Musicians include After The Fire's Peter Banks on synthesizer and vocal backgrounds by the group Cloud. John Pantry produced.
